1.Campus Clinic

Through a partnership with Puli Branch, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, the Campus Clinic provides health treatment as follows.

2.Core Services

(1) Family medicine, Rehabilitation, Chinese medicine, Chest Medicine, Internal Medicine, General simple trauma treatment.

(2) Health consultation

(3) Vaccination injection

(4) Smoking cessation service

(5) Adult preventive care service

(6) Various inspections

(7) Medical referral service

4.Expenses

Under the co-payment policy of Taiwan's National Health Insurance, all patients will pay a percentage of their medical fees unless the treatment is being provided as preventative care, or the treatment is in relation to a catastrophic disease. In addition to the co-pay waiver on specific types of treatment, the government has enacted legislation that reduces the amount contributed to treatment by specific individuals, namely veterans and low-income families.

5.Hours & Location

The Campus Health Clinic follows the academic calendar. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 12 AM; 2 PM to 5 PM. No services during Winter Break and Summer Break.

NCNU Clinic Instructions and Procedures

Medical Process:

Registration → Consultation → Pricing → Medication Pickup

1.Registration:

New patients must fill out a first-time patient form.

2.Consultation:

(1) Bring your health insurance card for consultation.

(2) Bring your residence permit or passport for self-paid consultation.

3. Pricing:

(1) After consultation, go to the pricing window to pay.

(2) After payment, proceed to the pharmacy to pick up the medication.

4.Notes:

(1) Clinic Fees: No registration fee for those with a health insurance card; only a partial payment is required.

(2) Please complete registration procedures in the clinic 30 minutes before the end of each session.

(Morning session: before 11:30 am / Afternoon session: before 4:30 pm)

(3) Outdoor consultation and medication pickup services are provided for confirmed cases.

(4) Afternoon sessions offer medication exchange services and provide ointments for external injuries.

(5) International students paying for a consultation can get a diagnosis certificate and attach the original receipt for insurance claims. The application fee for a diagnosis certificate is NT$100.

Puli Christian Hospital

For more than fifty years, Puli Christian Hospital has dedicated a tremendous amount of effort in servicing the people in the mountainous regions. The history of its continuous growth can be seen from the original wards erected by bamboo shoots to today’s hospital building that has as many as four hundred beds for the patients. All these achievements would not be possible without the hard works by its staff over the years.

Puli Branch, Taichung Veterans General Hospital

Located within Puli basin, Puli Branch, Taichung Veterans General Hospital is approximately one mile from Taiwan Geographic Center, the central point of Taiwan. It can be reached within 20 min by car from the scenic route to Sun Moon Lake in the Wushe area. Under the policy of vertical integration in the healthcare of VAC, Puli Branch, Taichung Veterans General Hospital has been cooperated by Taichung Veterans General Hospital in the beginning of January 2011. The quality of healthcare will be greatly anticipated within the great Puli region.
